Built for consulting firms

Engagement letters → timesheets → invoices → on-chain proof. One platform, weekly bill cycle.

Most consulting firms still run quarterly invoicing not because the math is hard but because the bookkeeping is painful. Nijam shortens the cycle from quarterly to weekly: consultants log time in Pulse, managers approve the timesheets in their inbox, the time-billing chain produces draft invoices per client by Monday morning, and Seal anchors the engagement letters so the audit trail is on-chain.

What we hear

The shape of the work, and how it changes on Nijam.

Problem #1

Quarterly invoicing means three months of forgetting which client got billed for what.

How Nijam handles it

Weekly invoice cycle via the Timesheet → Invoice chain. Manager-approved timesheets land in /pulse/billing's Ready-to-Bill queue. One batch operation creates per-client draft invoices. DSO drops from 75 days to ~42 in our early-access cohort.

Problem #2

Engagement letters live in DOCX templates emailed back and forth, never properly signed.

How Nijam handles it

Seal ships a BigLaw consulting agreement template + a SOW template, both with variable-fill chips for client + scope + fee. Sign via the /sign/[token] flow with on-chain proof. Reusable across every new engagement.

Problem #3

When a client disputes an invoice three months later, the timesheet evidence is in a Slack DM no-one can find.

How Nijam handles it

Every approved timesheet has a SHA-256 hash anchored on Solana via the verify pipeline. Three years later, the timesheet hash is on a public ledger — independent of whether Nijam is still around. Dispute evidence becomes a verify-URL link, not a Slack archaeology project.

Problem #4

Tax compliance — both India TDS Section 194J on professional fees and US 1099-NEC issuance — falls between two tools.

How Nijam handles it

Same engine handles both. India professional-services bills get TDS 194J (10% professional / 2% technical) computed inline. US contractor-style consultants get 1099-NEC issuance at the OBBBA 2026 $2,000 threshold.
