Nijam CPA Portal

Your AI Tax Practice (United States)

US CPAs run client payroll, Form 941 quarterly review, and W-2 + 1099-NEC filing season — all in one workspace.

Built for US CPA firms managing multiple client tax engagements under Treasury Circular 230.

United States only. Treasury Circular 230 + IRC §7216.

What you get

  • Form 941 quarterly review computed live from PayrollRun totals. No snapshot drift.
  • W-2 + 1099-NEC filing-season hub — issuance + SSA / IRS transmittal status across every client.
  • Circular 230 engagement letter as a Seal template — signed + anchored from the same workspace.
  • Per-client tax-status badges so a CPA knows at a glance which books are ready to file.

Form 941 quarterly review

Quarterly federal tax totals computed live from PayrollRun

Box 2 (wages, tips) maps to PayrollRun.totalGross. Box 3 (federal income tax withheld) maps to totalFedTax. Quarter cards render Q1 through Q4 with the per-client breakdown so a CPA can see which clients are ready to file and which need a reconciliation conversation before April 30.

  • Q1-Q4 cards with per-client breakdown + quarter totals
  • Live recompute on every payroll run — no snapshot drift
  • USA-jurisdiction filter excludes any non-US payroll from the totals
  • Filing deadline reminders: Apr 30, Jul 31, Oct 31, Jan 31

Filing season

W-2 + 1099-NEC across every client in one workspace

January 31 isn't a panic anymore. The Filings tab lists every W-2 and every 1099-NEC across every client org the CPA services, with per-form status (DRAFT / FINAL / FILED) and SSA / IRS transmittal markers. The summary cards show how many are issued vs how many still need to land.

  • Per-form status pills (DRAFT / ISSUED / FINAL / FILED)
  • SSA filing marker for W-2; IRS filing marker for 1099-NEC
  • OBBBA 2026 1099-NEC threshold ($2,000) honored — no spurious small-dollar 1099s
  • Year-selector covers current + two prior tax years

Circular 230

Engagement letters anchored to Seal — IRC §7216 baked in

Every CPA engagement starts with a Circular 230 letter. We ship the canonical template (Treasury Circular 230 + IRC §7216 + AICPA SSTS anchors) as a Seal-gallery entry. Click "new engagement" — the variables fill in from the client record, the signer flow is the Seal flow your other agreements use, and the document hash anchors on Solana on signature.

  • Pre-built Circular 230 template — scope, fees, IRC §7216 confidentiality, §10.28 records, §10.34 return standards
  • Engagement letter → signed PDF → Solana proof — all in one workflow
  • Variables auto-populate from client metadata (tax year, scope, hourly rate)
  • Audit trail covers every change from draft to seal

Practice surface

Multi-client dashboard at /cpa/* — every client, one tab away

CPAs log in as the CPA role and see their full client portfolio in one workspace. Each client's payroll, filings, engagements, and clients page is one click — no re-authenticating, no client-database switching.

  • Practice dashboard with active clients + tax-year totals
  • Per-client tax-status badge — green = ready to file, amber = pending
  • Drag-down filing-season checklist with deadline countdowns
  • Role-bound RBAC: CPA + SYSTEM_ADMIN + OWNER + ADMIN can access /cpa/*

Frequently asked

Does the CPA Portal handle state income tax + SUTA?

Not in v1. Federal income tax + FICA + Form 941 + W-2 + 1099-NEC are native. State income tax and SUTA filing route through existing state-specific tools (Drake, ProConnect, UltraTax). State integration is on the roadmap; not blocking v1 federal workflows.

Can a single CPA serve clients across both India and the US?

Yes — a CPA + CA dual-licensed practitioner gets both /ca/* and /cpa/* surfaces. The role check on each route allows OWNER/ADMIN/SYSTEM_ADMIN through to both, and CA / CPA roles each get their jurisdiction-bound surface.

What about IRS e-filing?

Track A (current): the portal prepares the filing + transmittal status, with a HITL review queue. The CPA submits via existing IRS e-file infrastructure (MeF, FIRE). Track B (planned): direct IRS e-filing once the IRS authorizes the platform as a third-party transmitter.
