TL;DR

DocuSign invented e-signature and is the enterprise default. Nijam Seal adds what DocuSigndoesn’t: every signed agreement is SHA-256 hashed and anchored on Solana, publicly verifiable at verify.nijam.co with a QR code. Add Aadhaar identity checks for India, Stripe Identity for the USA, and AI clause-level risk analysis - all in one login that also handles invoicing, hiring, and tax.

Nijam Seal vs. DocuSign
Blockchain-verified vs trust-us signatures

DocuSign gives you a signed PDF. Nijam gives you a signed PDF plus a public QR-verifiable record on Solana that no one - not even Nijam - can forge or back-date.

The DocuSign way

  • ·PDF signed and emailed
  • ·Audit trail in DocuSign’s database
  • ·You trust DocuSign. Your counterparty trusts you.
  • ·Identity = email + IP
  • ·Separate tool for Indian GST + TDS
  • ·Separate tool for US 1099 + W-2
  • ·Separate tool for hiring + BGV

Enterprise default. Zero proof beyond one vendor’s word.

The Nijam Seal way

  • PDF signed, hashed, anchored on Solana
  • Public verification URL + QR code on every doc
  • Anyone can verify - no login, no vendor trust needed
  • Identity = Aadhaar (IN) or Stripe Identity (US)
  • AI clause analysis + risk scorecard built-in
  • Invoicing, hiring, compliance in same workspace
  • Open verify.nijam.co/v/<token> - see a live example

Forensic-grade proof. One login. Two jurisdictions.

Feature-by-feature comparison

DocuSignhas deeper enterprise features - multi-party signing orchestration, integrations with Salesforce / Workday, SOC 2 audit packages going back years. If you’re Fortune 500 signing 10,000 documents a month, DocuSign is purpose-built for that. The gap is everywhere else.

Frequently asked questions

Is Nijam Seal a legal substitute for DocuSign?
Yes. Nijam Seal produces ESIGN- and UETA-compliant signatures for the USA and IT Act 2000 (Section 10A) / Aadhaar e-sign compliant signatures for India. The added blockchain anchor strengthens - not replaces - the legal standing; it gives you court-admissible proof of integrity and timing without relying on any one vendor's database.
What does "blockchain-anchored" actually mean for my contracts?
When a Nijam agreement is signed, its SHA-256 content hash is written as a Solana memo transaction (with Polygon failover). Any party - including opposing counsel in a dispute - can independently verify at verify.nijam.co that the document existed at that exact timestamp and hasn't been altered. No one can forge or backdate a sealed Nijam agreement, including Nijam.
Can I migrate signed DocuSign agreements into Nijam?
Yes for upload and re-reference. You can upload existing signed PDFs to Nijam Seal as "historical" records - they get a verify record and QR for future lookup, though the original DocuSign signing event remains the source of truth for pre-migration docs.
Does Nijam Seal support India's Aadhaar e-Sign?
Yes. Signers with Indian IDs can optionally complete Aadhaar OTP-based identity verification (OKYC) during the signing flow, producing a FIPS-grade identity binding that's recognized under India's IT Act.
Is Nijam cheaper than DocuSign?
DocuSign Business Pro is $40/user/month. Nijam Seal is included in every Nijam workspace alongside Invoicing, Pulse, Hire, and Taxia - so if you're also paying for an accounting tool, an ATS, and a BGV vendor, Nijam consolidates all of it. Per-seat direct comparison isn't quite apples-to-apples because Nijam's pricing is workspace-based, not per-signer.
Where does DocuSign still win?
DocuSign has a decade of enterprise integrations (Salesforce CPQ, Workday, SAP Ariba), CLM tooling, advanced conditional signing logic, and procurement-friendly audit packages. For Fortune 500 signing workflows, DocuSign is still the right tool. Nijam targets growth-stage and mid-market operators, especially those in dual-jurisdiction setups.
